This is a plain-language template. Have a lawyer review it against your business details and country before you take real payments, and fill in the operator name and address below.

1. Who runs this

themillion.lol is operated by [LEGAL NAME], [ADDRESS], [VAT / COMPANY NUMBER]. Contact: hello@themillion.lol.

2. What you are buying

You are buying an advertising placement on a public leaderboard: a listing with your handle or URL, its own public page, an outbound link, and click and view metrics. Your position is set by the total amount you have paid. This is a purchase of a defined product, not a donation or a contribution to a fundraiser. You are not buying advertising performance, and no result is promised.

3. Ranking

Positions are set by amount paid, with ties resolved by who paid first. Positions change when other people pay more. Losing a position is a normal outcome of the service and is not a fault in it.

4. Payment

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your card details. Prices are in US dollars. A payment is credited to your listing once it has cleared, which is usually immediate but may take longer.

5. Your content

You confirm that you have the right to submit the handle, URL and name you list, and that the destination follows the rules. You grant us permission to display your handle, URL and an automatically generated preview image of the destination.

6. Removal and suspension

We may remove a listing that breaks the rules, is unlawful, or exposes us to legal or payment-processor risk. Removal for a rule violation does not come with a refund. If we remove a listing for a reason other than a violation, we will refund the amount paid for it.

7. No warranty

The service is provided as it is. We do not warrant uninterrupted availability or any level of traffic, visibility or commercial result.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. Changes apply to purchases made after they are published. Existing listings keep the rank they had.

10. Law

These terms are governed by the law of [COUNTRY], and disputes go to the courts of [CITY].
